Quality Education Fund Exposition 2018 (4-5 May 2018)
To celebrate Quality Education Fund (QEF)’s 20th Anniversary, a series of events will be launched under the theme “Connecting Teaching Professionals, Nurturing Talents for Tomorrow” from 4-5 May 2018 (Friday & Saturday) at Sir Ellis Kadoorie Secondary School (West Kowloon).
The Opening cum Prize Presentation Ceremony of the Expo is scheduled to take place on 4 May 2018 (AM). We are honoured to have Mr Kevin YEUNG Yun-hung, JP, the Secretary for Education to officiate at the Expo and Professor Alvin LEUNG Seung-ming, Dean of Education, Faculty of Education, The Chinese University of Hong Kong to deliver a speech on “21st Century Quality Education” at the occasion. Other activities include student performances, booth display and 29 sharing sessions. Different priority themes and Quality Thematic Networks will be included and topics related to effective learning and teaching, assessment literacy, STEM education, positive development and healthy lifestyle, teacher professional development, information literacy, parent education and catering for learner diversity will be covered. Some of the grantees will share the tips on QEF application and project implementation. QEF deliverables will be available for sale with discount at the venue.
